Cervical Cancer Awareness and Screening

One of RC Vigan’s advocacies is to safeguard women’s health. It launched the Cervical Cancer Awareness and Screening  with a lay forum by the President Judith Cristobal, who is an OB-Gyne and Gynecologic Oncologist. This was followed by VIA (Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid), a fast, cheap and reliable cervical cancer screening procedure. This was made possible by the District Simplified Grant of IPDG Tony Bautista. The club conducted three separate Cervical cancer awareness and screening that benefited around 200 teachers. It was done on October 19, 2013, January 19, 2014, and February 8, 2014.
